2010 Suzuki M109r - The Sentinal

Since we got our hands on a #M109r last year, we have been itching to work on another.
Enter the donor bike: a mildly modified M109; it came to us with new #Cobrasweptexhaust, #PowerCommander, LED turn signals and accent lighting.

Ie blacked it out, lowered it, fabricated some custom pieces and of course all powder coating is in house.
Tons of extras that are not mentioned. Overall, another bike I was very happy with.

Some details on the build:

  • All original pieces prepped and coated:
    • Powdercoated the fork tubes, triple trees, Custom risers machined out of billet in Super Durable Wet Black.
    • Powdercoated the Custom risers, Custom billet gauge mount, chopped fenders, rotors, engine mounts and pedals, master cylinder with Tuscan Matte Black.
    • Two stage powdercoated engine covers and air intake in Black Chrome + Sparkle Gloss
    • Powdercoated handlebar, levers, rims in Black Chrome
    • Powder coated Cobra exhaust in High Temp Black
  • Frame mods:
    • Eliminated the subframe
  •  Suspension:
    • Tricky air ride rear suspension
  • Front End:
    • Custom risers machined out of billet and Suspension:
    • Custom billet gauge mount,
    • Lowered front end by 2″
  • Paint & Body:
    • Custom two tone paint with red pin stripping
    • Custom fiberglass tail that we made in house. This certainly was a labour of love, it involved making molds of the stock fairings and piecing them together
  • Electronics & Lights:
    • Quad projector headlights and LED turnsignals, with custom shroud
    • Koso digital gauge and gear indicator
    • Custom tail light, turn signals and head lights
    • Power Commander ECU
  • Seat
    • Custom seat by Mikes Upholstery in Hamilton
  • Exhaust:
    • Cobra Upswept Exhaust
